Why Herald exists
Hermes Agent is at its best when it runs on hardware you control, with your models, your tools and your memory. That also means it lives on a desk. The official ways to reach it from a phone are a chat thread in a messaging app or a dashboard built for big screens.
Herald is the app that was missing: every bot on every computer you run, in one place, with the things a phone is good at. Notifications when a bot needs you, a wake word when your hands are busy, your roster on your wrist and a voice conversation in the car.
What we promise
- Your hardware, your data. Herald talks straight to your Hermes. There is no Herald server to sign up for and nothing to sync through.
- One price. Pay once. No subscription and no in-app purchases.
- Honest pages. Our comparisons say when another app is free or better, and every guide shows when it was last checked.
- Clear about who we are. Herald is unofficial. Hermes Agent and its name belong to Nous Research.
